As Creative Director at Multia, many of you know that design is my passion. But it’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about weaving stories, stories that connect with people’s hearts and cultures. In an inspiring YouTube series Design in India: Past, Present and Future, Sujata Keshavan spoke about the Eames Report and its contribution to the discipline of Design.
This report, commissioned by the Indian government in 1958, chronicles the legendary Charles and Ray Eames’ exploration of India’s cultural landscape through the lens of design.
What struck me most was how relevant their insights remain today. The report serves as a timeless guide for Indian designers like myself, who enjoy choreographing the beautiful dance of tradition and innovation.
